Nutrition Counselling

What you eat shapes how you train, how you recover and how you feel in everyday life. In our nutrition counselling in Kloten we analyse your habits — with a food diary and body composition analysis — and develop a plan that fits your sport and your daily routine, in clearly structured packages with transparent prices.

Packages & prices

BASIC — CHF 589: an initial consultation of 90 minutes and three further appointments of 60 minutes, plus four body composition analyses on the Tanita scale. A structured start across four appointments: analysis, personal nutrition plan, progress review and final evaluation.

PLUS — CHF 920: the same counselling scope as the BASIC package — initial consultation of 90 minutes, three appointments of 60 minutes and four body composition analyses on the Tanita scale — complemented by a blood analysis and a microbiome/stool analysis as an additional data basis for your nutrition plan.

Individual — CHF 140/h: you would rather clarify specific questions than book a package? Individual counselling is billed per hour — from a one-off check to loose longer-term support.

Who it is for

For everyone who wants to approach nutrition in a structured way: athletes who want to support training, competition and recovery; anyone with a weight goal that should be planned realistically; and patients who want to complement their rehab from the nutrition side. We do not promise miracles — we build a plan that fits your everyday life. Whether counselling suits your situation is something we clarify in the initial consultation.

Frequently asked questions

How does nutrition counselling work?

We start with a 90-minute initial consultation: history, eating habits and your goals — plus a food diary you keep at home. Around two weeks later we discuss the analysis and you receive your personal nutrition plan. After roughly three more weeks there is a progress review, and in the fourth appointment we take stock and plan how you continue on your own. Four body composition analyses on the Tanita scale accompany the process.

What packages are there and what do they cost?

The BASIC package costs CHF 589 and includes a 90-minute initial consultation, three further 60-minute appointments and four body composition analyses on the Tanita scale. The PLUS package costs CHF 920 and additionally includes a blood analysis and a microbiome/stool analysis. Without a package, individual counselling is billed at CHF 140 per hour. All prices are fixed — there are no hidden costs.

Is nutrition counselling covered by health insurance?

Nutrition counselling at our practice is a self-pay service with transparent prices — you know exactly what to expect before the first appointment. Basic health insurance (KVG) only covers nutrition counselling when it is prescribed by a doctor for specific diagnoses and carried out by recognised dietitians (BSc/SVDE). Whether a contribution towards the costs is possible in your situation is something we are happy to clarify with you in advance — just give us a call.

Who is nutrition counselling suitable for?

For athletes who want to support performance and recovery, for anyone with a realistic weight goal, for patients accompanying their rehab from the nutrition side, and for everyone who prefers structure over guesswork. If you have a medical diagnosis, we clarify in advance whether an additional medical assessment makes sense.

Booking: nutrition counselling is arranged by phone — call us in Kloten on 044 803 91 19 (English is fine) and we will clarify the package and the cost question with you in advance.
